Azure OpenAI Service
Azure OpenAI in Foundry Models is Microsoft's service for running OpenAI's models inside Azure; it is part of Microsoft Foundry, and the documentation groups it under 'Foundry Models sold by Azure'. Developers deploy a model in their own Azure resource and send prompts to it over an API to generate text, images or embeddings, and can fine-tune a model on their own data. Microsoft hosts the models in Azure and says they do not interact with services run by OpenAI. Content filters (Guardrails) and abuse monitoring run on prompts and outputs.
